Accommodation
Calvary Central Districts Hospital offers a high standard of accommodation with both shared and private rooms. All rooms have their own en-suite facilities. Accommodation is shared in the Day Surgery Unit. Depending on your reason for hospitalisation you may find yourself nursed for a time in our High Dependency area where you can be more closely monitored and observed by nursing staff.

Bed allocations are done on the day of admission. Whilst every effort is made to provide you with the room type you have requested, this may not always be possible. When your preferred accommodation becomes available you will be transferred if you wish.

Staying with Children in Hospital
We encourage parents to spend as much time as possible with their child during the child's hospitalisation. A parent may stay overnight with their child if they wish. Please note that in these circumstances a nominal boarder fee will be charged per night.

High Dependency Unit
We have a High Dependency Unit to support patients undergoing major procedures

Day Surgery
A wide variety of procedures are undertaken in our Day Surgery Unit. Advances in technology have provided greater convenience for patients limiting their stay to two hours after the procedure in most cases.

Children are well catered for in the Day Surgery Centre.
